Join us Wednesday, March 5 at 12:00pm or 7:00pm in the Kono Chapel for the imposition of ashes and space to reflect, pray and prepare for the Lenten journey. Both services are in English. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. Lent is a 40 day journey of spiritual renewal.  It is time we take to reflect on our relationship with God, practice being present and letting go of what stands in the way of deeper communion with our loving Creator.    ...

Bring your friends and family and join us for Sukiyaki Dinner, March 1, 2014 from 4pm-7pm. Take out service begins at 2pm. Adults $14, child (11 & under) $9. We will be entertained by Blaine Ukulele Group, The Megumi Pre-School Singers, and Japanese Dance and Koto performance by Midori Thiel. Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks on their Superbowl win and to the United Methodist Churches of Denver on their food drive challenge win!  Thank you to all who participated in helping to fill the food banks of Seattle and Denver.   Worship this Sunday, Feb. 9 is canceled due to the Winter Storm.  All church activities are canceled Sunday, Feb.9. Super Bowl Food Drive Challenge

This Sunday, Feb. 2 worship is at 10:00am (joint English service) and 11:00am (Japanese)  Seattle Area United Methodist Churches have been challenged by the Denver United Methodist Churches to a food drive in anticipation of the Super Bowl this Sunday.   Blaine Memorial is participating as well as many other churches in the area. Blaine Memorial Receives Community Voice Award from the International Examiner

On Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at the Tea Palace Restaurant in Renton, WA, Blaine Memorial United Methodist Church received a Community Voice Award for Outstanding Organization by the International Examiner. The International Examiner was established in 1974 ad is the only non-profit Asian American publication in the country, serving the Northwest Asian American community.
