Nicaragua Mission Trip August 14-22, 2015 A mission team of 27 will be traveling to Leon, Nicaragua and working with the non-profit  community based organization, El Ayudante (means “The Helper”, www.eanicaragua.com).  They are excited to show Christ’s love by providing dental care, building two kitchen additions and two latrines and holding a Vacation Bible School for the Nicaraguan Christian Home children. Dr. Yamazaki was lead physician on the U.S. Atomic Bomb Medical Team studying the effects of nuclear bombing on children in Nagasaki. He has continued to research, publish, and speak out on the long-term effects of nuclear radiation on children and their descendants, and received the Socially Responsible Medicine Award from Physicians for Social Responsibility in 2008.
