Learn MoreStarting this Sunday, September 20th, we will be going back to our regular worship and Sunday school schedule! Traditional English worship service will start at 9:30am in the Sanctuary followed by refreshments and fellowship in the Social Hall. Blaine Youth Group (BYG) begins at 10am in the Kono Chapel. Summit English Worship will begin at 11am in the Lee Activity Center (LAC) followed by refreshments and fellowship. Children K-5 will begin service in the LAC at 11am and be released to Church School in the Education Wing. Nichigobu, our Japanese speaking congregation worships in the Sanctuary at 11:00am.
One the first Sunday of each month, we will combine services and hold a Joint English Worship and Communion Service at 10am in the Sanctuary followed by refreshments and fellowship in the Social Hall. Children K-5 will begin service in the Sanctuary at 10am and be released to Church School in the Education Wing. Nichigobu will worship in the Sanctuary at 11:30am.
Reverend Hiro Iwabuchi will speak on Saturday September 19th @ 9am as part of his on-going Nichigo Lecture Series. The title of this month’s lecture is “Why Are We Going To Die/How Can We Prepare For Death?” The purpose of the lecture series is to introduce the Scripture as the “map†and Jesus Christ as “the guide†for our life journey. The lecture is aimed at non-Christians but those who are already Christian will find their faith strengthened by the lecture. Reverend Hiro will be speaking in Japanese so he encourages English speaking folks to invite Japanese speaking folks to help interpret his message. Location: Webb room. Reverend Hiro hopes to see you then.
