Day of Remembrance Reflection Questions:
- How does learning about the experiences of Japanese American survivors challenge my understanding of justice, mercy, and the human capacity for resilience in the face of fear and injustice?
- In what ways do I see echoes of Executive Order 9066 or similar injustices in our world today, and how am I called to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly in response?
- How can the stories of survivors guide our communities in remembering, repairing harm, and standing alongside those who are marginalized or oppressed today?
