Sermon Questions

  • How has God been faithful in your own life, and in the life of this church, over the years? In what ways can we honor that faithfulness today?
  • Blaine Memorial UMC has a history of “showing up” for others, even when it was difficult. How is God calling you to stand with the vulnerable, speak for justice, or serve your community in this present moment?
  • Our church is not a museum but a living body of Christ. How can we ensure that Blaine Memorial continues to be a place where God’s love is not just remembered, but actively lived for future generations?

BLAINE MEMORIAL’S 122ND ANNIVERSARY SUNDAY CELEBRATION!

It is such a great joy to celebrate Blaine Memorial UMC’s 122nd Anniversary! We’ll honor our church members and friends who have or will have reached by the end of January, the glorious age of 88 and older by reading their names aloud during worship.

What’s a better way than to show our appreciation to our 88+ year old church members than having a ’Blaine’ potluck? We are asking folks to contribute! (If you are single, please feel free to bring just one of the items. If you are 88+ years old, you do not need to bring a dish. This celebration is for you!):

A-H: main dish/dessert

I-S: main dish/salad

T-Z: main dish/rice

Thank you for supporting Anniversary Sunday! We hope you can continue to celebrate our 122 years of ministry in the Seattle Area!
