Congregational Care

Know someone within the congregation who needs a ride to church? How about someone in a nursing home who would like to be visited or someone undergoing hardship and could use a meal? All of us are called upon to minister to our brothers and sisters:  “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ,” (Galatians 6:2).

Congregational Care reaches out to our homebound, assisted living and nursing home residents, college students and those serving in the military with visitations and/or gifts. Cards are sent to those who are ill, have lost a loved one or who may have a current struggle in their lives. Minor home repairs, light yard work and some transportation are also offered. These projects are ongoing throughout the year.

The Congregational Care Committee would like to encourage everyone within the Blaine family to reach out to their brothers and sisters in need. For more information or to request a prayer request for someone, contact Committee Chair Pam Yorozu at pjyorozu@aol.com.
