We return to our regular worship schedule this week, February 7 with the theme Passionate Worship. Traditional service in the sanctuary begins at 9:30am. Contemporary Summit Service begins at 10:45 in the Lee Center.

Join us this Sunday, January 31 as we join both Summit, Sanctuary and Nichigo services at 10am for a brief worship service in the Sanctuary. Following worship you’re invited to join in our “winter cleanup” of the church led by the Board of Trustees. Feel free to come to church in your scrubs and bring any tools that you might need for projects indoors and outdoors (if the weather allows). A light lunch will be served as well.

2010 COMING-DO YOU HAVE MEDICARE HEALTH/RX QUESTIONS?
Cho Shimizu is available on the 2nd Friday of each month to help reconcile Medicare Insurance or Prescription Plan issues you may have. Find out if you need to make changes for 2010. November 15 to December 31 is an open period to change the Part D Prescription Drug Plan for 2010. Higher premiums, higher cost of drugs and larger gaps may warrant a review of your existing plan. By filling out the Prescription Drug Form (available in the church office) and sending it to the noted addresses, a review with alternatives will be made to determine if it would be to your best interest to change plans. You can also set up an appointment with Cho by calling the church office at 206-723-1536. Cho is one of many State Health Insurance Advisor volunteers who are providing consultation if needed.

CELEBRATE ASIA WITH SEATTLE SYMPHONY– JAN. 22
Jerry Lee has pre-purchased some $35 and limited $20 tickets to the Celebrate Asia Concert at Benaroya Hall on Friday, January 22, 2010, starting at 6:30 pm. For more details, see the posted flyer and seating chart in the church office. For ticket purchase, contact Jerry at 206 232-0335 or email jerryqlee@comcast.net. Only a few tickets are left.
