Lynne Onishi & Yoshi Kuramoto
Blaine Youth Group (BYG) Directors
My name is Lynne Onishi and I am a long-time Blaine church-goer. I have attended Blaine throughout my Sunday School days, my time in the Blaine Youth Group, and now as a young adult. Currently, I am a student attending Seattle Pacific University and I plan to graduate with a degree in Psychology in March 2018. Although I still have much to learn about my “calling” in life, I have an interest in education, ministry, and possibly psychological research. Through serving as a BYG advisor, leading small groups at SPU, and serving as a student fellow at the Wesley Foundation at UW (a Methodist campus ministry organization), I have been able to gain different types of leadership experience during my college years. With your care and support, I hope to continue learning more about ministry and working with students this year. As I begin my final year at SPU, I am looking forward to my classes and jumping into co-directing the BYG! When I am not busy, I enjoy running an Instagram for my cats and watching HGTV. Thank you, Blaine community, for your continued prayers and encouragement as I step into this new role!
