Dione serves as Blaine Memorial’s Pastor of Family Ministries. He was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, growing up in Renton and spending plenty of time on the South Side of Seattle with family and friends for community and church activities. Prior to full time ministry he completed a Degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington and worked in Recruiting and Human Resources for over ten years. He counts that season of his life a blessing along the journey that provided perspective on people, organizations and teamwork. Dione completed his Master of Divinity degree from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL. While in seminary he worked as a Chaplain at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and interned at Grace United Methodist Church of Logan Square.
Dione loves learning about cultures, experiences and contexts that shape one’s perspective. He values openness, difference and diversity believing we must be open to difference, open to others and open to God’s work in the world. In his spare time loves playing sports and having quality family time. He’s the spouse of a loving Nurse Educator, Sarah, and dad to two energetic kids, Jonah, 5 and Emma, almost 3 years old.
