What should I wear?
While there’s no formal dress code at Blaine Memorial, you will typically find people wearing everything from jeans and t-shirts to skirts, suits and ties. Feel free to wear whatever clothes make you feel most comfortable. We care more that you are here, than what you wear.
How long are your services?
About one hour and fifteen minutes with coffee, tea, and fellowship time afterward.
What are your services like?
Blaine Memorial’s services focus mostly on worship and preaching. We will share some announcements during the morning, express our hearts to God through music, and hear a teaching about God’s word. After all services, our fellowship hall is open to talk more with people you’ve met and grab a cup of coffee or tea.
What about my kids?
A staffed nursery is available during all services. We have Church School for children in grades Pre-K through 5 and Youth Groups for grades 6-12. Parents are always welcome to attend and observe any of these ministries.
When do you hold Communion?
We typically celebrate Communion on the first Sundays of the month in all services. United Methodists celebrate the Lord’s Supper with an open table; all are welcome to receive communion with us.
Is there handicap access to the church facilities?
Yes, there is. There is an elevator in the parking lot at the bottom of the steps that will take anyone with physical challenges directly to the Summit service on the 2nd floor of the Lee Activity Center or to the third floor where there is a short ramp leading to the church sanctuary. All restrooms and meeting spaces are wheelchair accessible.
