CAMP MEKOKIKO & JAMAICA MISSIONS SHARING – TODAY
Our two mission teams will be sharing their experiences in the Social Hall after worship service. Lunch will be provided. Plan on attending to hear what the teams accomplished and their personal growth because of their involvement. Grant Hoel, of Praying Pelicans, will be visiting us – a big welcome to him!!
PICNIC/POTLUCK POSTCARDS
On July 18, after worship service, we are holding a VBS Sunday and Homecoming Potluck in the courtyard (weather permitting) and Social Hall . We will be mailing invitation postcards to many of our Blaine family who have been “missing” from worship and/or other Blaine activities. During fellowship time today and on July 4 or July 11, please stop by the postcard table to write a short note of welcome to those who may be on the printed list or to suggest others who you would like to invite to the potluck. Many thanks for helping to keep connected with our friends.
SOCIAL JUSTICE MEETING – JULY 11

BLOOD DRIVE – SAVE THE DATE – JULY 24
Save the date of Saturday, July 24, for the Asian-Pacific Islander Blood and Bone Marrow Drive, at Blaine Memorial UMC. Volunteers will soon be calling!!
JUNE MONTHLY COLLECTION – EMERGENCY FEEDING PROGRAM
June collection will be for the Emergency Feeding Program. This program will help children who have lost subsidized school lunches. They may be facing hunger when summer vacation begins. Check the poster in the narthex for some of the needed items.
Please leave your donations in the collection trunks in the LAC and Narthex by June 27. Thank you for your continued support.
SUMMER JOINT WORSHIP
Our single summer worship services has begun. Start time is 10:00 am in the Sanctuary with fellowship in the Social Hall for the entire summer through September 5. (Nichigo will be at 11:30 am in the Sanctuary.)

Reminder: Your help is needed during the week of VBS (7/12-16). If you didn’t fill out a form, just call the office and we can find a spot for you. Whatever time you can give (1 hour or 1 day or all week) is appreciated and you will love it. Please call the office (206 723-1536) to get signed up.
CPR CLASS SIGN-UP
The sign-up sheet for the CPR class on August 28, 9:30 am – 1:00 pm, will be in the Social Hall this Sunday. Elaine Dondoyano will conduct the class. See the article in the July/August newsletter on page 6 or the posted flyer for more information. Class is limited to 20.
