This event benefits ACRS and raises awareness about hunger in King County and supports the ACRS Food Bank. Our Blaine Co-Captains are Becky Yoda and Kim Sekijima. The Japanese Cultural & Community Center of Washington will be holding their 2009 Rummage Sale on June 20, 9:00 am-3:00 pm. All proceeds to benefit the Nikkei Heritage Association of WA dba JCCCW. Start gathering your unwanted items now and then attend the sale to see what treasures you may find! Volunteers are needed. Hailey Mitsui will be home for the summer beginning June 15 and is looking for a job! She would be happy to do temporary or one-time-only jobs for you such as house cleaning, errands, or babysitting. Or, if you own a business, she would be available for vacation fill-in type work or extra summer help. She does have her own means of transportation, so commuting is not a problem.
