Our monthly collection for May will benefit the Refugee Women’s Alliance, a nonprofit, multi-ethnic organization that promotes inclusion, independence, personal leadership and strong communities by providing refugee and immigrant women and families. ReWA advocates for social justice, public policy changes, and equal access to services while respecting cultural values and the right to self-determination.
They currently are asking for the following:
Personal Care Items: toothbrushes and toothpaste, soap, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, deodorant, lip balm and shower gel
Household Items: pots and pans, household cleaners, utensils, plates, baking sheets, can openers, blankets and pillows
You may bring your donation to church anytime during the month of May.
