Clearing Space
Scriptures – Psalm 51:1-17, Joel 2:12-14
Reflections:
We must clear space for newness to come – we do it in our gardens, in our homes in the spring, and we must do it within ourselves as well. We must clear out all that clouds our vision and hearing God. What is Blaine’s junk? What needs to be cleared out so that we can see and hear God together? How has Blaine been neglectful of God and community? What has been your role in the neglect?

Blaine’s junk: We hang on to traditions/habits, unwilling to make changes.
Needs to be cleared: come w/open minds and hearts
Neglectful: too much time spent on things that do not unify us as a body of Christ
